Kim Kardashian is ready to move on from her failed 72 day marriage to Kris Humphries and will do anything to do it — even exploit a romance with her friend and press-lover, Kanye West, a source close to Kris tells HollywoodLife.com.

“Whether or not they are in a real relationship, it’s a publicity stunt to sell records on his part and more importantly for her, to divert people from talking about her divorce,” the insider says. “If anyone deserves each other, it’s these two. They both love publicity and material things.”

Our source explains Kim and Kanye’s sudden infatuation and public displays of attention at dinner, shopping and when leaving Kanye’s New York City home are “no coincidence they started the same night his new song dropped.”

Indeed, Kanye’s new single, “Theraflu,” talks about his love for the 31-year-old reality star and even disses her soon-to-be ex-husband, threatening to get him kicked off the team!

“I’m convinced they are the ones who have been tipping off the paparazzi to take their photos everywhere they go so that they can get the publicity,” the insider says. “Someone who is calling the paparazzi can’t be as desperate about her divorce as she says she is.”

Interestingly enough, a source close to the Kardashian family also confirms that Kim and Kanye are exploiting their relationship for publicity.

“It’s so calculated and of course, Kim’s mother, Kris, is all behind it,” the insider says. “Look at all the great PR they are getting. I must say they they make a perfect couple. They both love the limelight and can’t get enough attention.” Adds the source, “This is also a big f**k you to Kris Humphries. I kind of feel sorry for him because Kim is acting like never ever shed a tear for him. I don’t understand why the Kardashians think this is a good move for Kim. But believe me everything that family does calculated.”
